Baisakhi Celebrations
Sanskar Smart School, Barotiwala celebrated Baisakhi with tremendous enthusiasm, bringing the spirit of the harvest festival right onto the school campus. Students arrived dressed in vibrant traditional Punjabi attire, filling the corridors and classrooms with colour and festive energy.
The celebrations included lively Bhangra and Giddha performances, folk songs and classroom decorations themed around the harvest season. Students learned about the cultural and agricultural significance of Baisakhi through engaging activities and stories shared by their teachers.
Principal Mrs. Poonam Sharma joined the festivities with great warmth, encouraging students to take pride in their roots and enjoy the celebrations wholeheartedly. Cheering on the young performers, she reminded students that festivals like Baisakhi are a wonderful way to learn about gratitude, hard work and the joy of community — values she encourages them to carry well beyond the school gates.
The joyous atmosphere, filled with music, dance and laughter, reflected the school's commitment to helping students connect with and celebrate the rich cultural traditions of our country. It was a memorable day of learning, fun and togetherness for the entire school community.
