Youth Parliament
Sanskar Smart School, Barotiwala organized an engaging Youth Parliament session on campus, giving students a hands-on introduction to the workings of India's democratic institutions. Students from all classes participated enthusiastically, stepping into the roles of Speaker, Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers and Opposition Members for the day.
The mock parliamentary session saw young parliamentarians debate topics relevant to school and society, moving motions, raising questions and responding to counter-arguments with confidence and conviction, all while observing the decorum and procedures of a real parliamentary sitting. The activity encouraged students to research their subjects thoroughly and present their viewpoints with clarity and reasoning.
Through the Youth Parliament, students gained valuable insight into the Indian Constitution, the legislative process and the importance of respectful debate in a democracy. The initiative also helped nurture essential skills such as public speaking, leadership, teamwork and critical thinking among participants of every age group.
Principal Mrs. Poonam Sharma commended the students for their thoughtful participation and articulate arguments, noting that such initiatives play a vital role in shaping informed, responsible citizens and confident future leaders. The Youth Parliament stood out as a memorable and enriching experience for the entire school community.
